Pike provided construction administration services for the $28 million new adult care facility at the Rocky Hill Veterans' Home. The project consisted of an 87,000 square foot, two-story brick building which includes a 125-bed facility for the care of veterans. It replaced the existing building with a state-of-the-art healthcare facility. The design called for 50 two-person rooms and 25 single rooms, an Alzheimer’s unit, and hospice and respite care. The building also features a central dining room, recreation room, chapel, canteen, library, barber shop, and includes a modern security system. Pike also provided construction administration services for the new $4.6 million water distribution system throughout the campus.
