Conference Center at Lake Placid

Pike provided general construction services for a new 30,000 SF addition to the existing facility that provided an enhanced banquet and meeting planning capabilities for the Village of Lake Placid. The addition is connected to the sites of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. The facility services the Lake Placid Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The new Conference Center at Lake Placid features a 9,000 SF ballroom, fourteen breakout rooms, a full service production kitchen, state-of-the-art technology, an Adirondack style design, and self-performed millwork throughout.

The project received LEEDTM Gold certification, and features an exterior made of stone and copper shingles. There are meeting rooms and balconies to overlook Mirror Lake with Whiteface Mountain in the background.
